Access Options This is the root or home page of an administrators access to an individual site. It is all of the actions to which that administrator can access on this particular site. This is different than the "Site Pick" where you are choosing which site to work in.
Attendee Actions Can refer either to the screen where admins can perform various actions for an attendee or it can refer to those individuals to whom attendee actions have been granted.
Basic Site Settings A link from the Access Options page for a specific site where an administrators can adjust site-wide settings for things like the site name, contact email, payment types, message heading, questionnaire set up and so forth. For the most part these are things that you set once at the beginning of your site set up and then rarely touch again.
chloedog.org A test environment playground where you can set up a test site for people to use the features of eventCORE and a place for you to experiment with the look/feel and operation of an eventual production site.
Cloner The process of copying the contents from one site to another. Used to move from test site (e.g. chloedog) to production site. Also used to re-create an almost identical event on the same hosting site.
End-User A person who will use the eventCORE site to perform registration, membership, application and communication functions.
eventCORE The scripting engine that drives a powerful Web based registration, membership, application and communication system.
HostMaster eventCORE can be installed on different servers. The individual responsible for the configuration of the entire host site is called the Host Master.
paper trail A permanent, traceable record of actions taken that is recorded in the tables of the database. Allows one to see how/what changes were made in adjusting a record.
Site Pick This applies to those administrators who have access rights to more than one site. When you first log in to the admin console, you will be given a list of sites from which you choose to work on. They are listed in order of status. Incomplete sites are listed first, then active followed by various levels of closing. It ends with an archive listing of old sites.
source site When copying files or cloning a site, the source site refers to the site where the content currently exists.
target site When copying files or cloning a site, the target site refers to the site to which the files and information will now be placed. This is often a new site.
